  • Today I am deeply, almost unbearably happy.

    So it goes:

    - Yesterday, I had lunch with Mikiko, spent time with her and her roommates.
    - Went for dinner with Steph Shannon
    - Steph S. and I then went over to Sean & Monty's (Seanty's) to hang out with them, Owen and Simon.
    - We played tag outside under the full moon
    - Then grounder's tag on the playground
    - Went inside, sleepy and happy in the wee hours of the morning.
    - I slept over at their place (this time it was Monty's turn to be the gallant one, who traded his bed for the couch on my behalf).
    - Sean, Monty and I made pancakes this morning, but they didn't turn out well.
    - Went up Mt. Doug, played on the rocks, in the forest for a while. We saw a view of the city, climbed trees, lay on our backs under warm sun.
    - Stopped at a road-side organic food booth (honour system), bought tomatoes (sweet, juicy, tiny and perfect), and apples (crisp, sweet, juicy)
    - Gathered groceries to make dinner.
    - Sean made soup, I made Salmon from memory. It was perfect. Sean's words when he tried his first bite "Are you serious? Are you Serious!?" He and Monty agreed not to eat any fish that wasn't Christina's Salmon. I died happy (I got to eat amazing fish. I made amazing fish. I shared amazing fish.)
    - We ate contentedly
    - We napped.

I cannot contain the deepest sense of pleasure at having had such a healthy, clean, easy-going day. I cannot contain my happiness of having made something people enjoyed so much. I'm glowing.

    LOVE!
